I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things . I consider them rubbish, that i may gain Christ. Philippians 3:8

Hey Ya'll!

Don't be jealous now! Yes, yes rub your eyes you are seeing correctly. I met Paula Deen!!!! ahh! love her! Even better it was by chance or lets say God ordained.(thank you my Jesus.) He knows my hearts desires. Well.. the story is that we had a lovely Thanksgiving visit with Ryans parents over here. We took them to the enchantingly beautiful city of Williamsburg so they could marinate in the warm autumn colors. Meema and I went into this cutesy childrens boutique and I turn to see where Meems was I then took a double look cause I was like I know that lady from somewhere??? Hum... Oh Lordy bee it was Paula Deen shopping too! Trying to not make a serious fool of my self I said to Meems "thaat is Paaula Deeen" quietly to her. She said I know I was talking to her too. I quickly jumped at a once in a lifetime chance and we thought of a plan to get our picture taken with her. You know there is no shame when you have one shot at getting this you have to take action fast. Of course we asked her permission to get a picture with her and she says "of course honey I will". As you can see I was so giddy that I have the wedding day smile plastered all across my face. She even said to me "you have the most beautiful hair" oh my gersh, and of course me and my goofyness said "oh, thank you I just washed it" ugh! What was I thinking, I wasn't thinking I was just so happy to see her. By the way she is so pretty in person her eyes are yes really that blue. She is almost like Mrs.Clause Dillon said. Well to say the least I have never met any celebrities but, I am glad the first one I did was someone I liked. The rest of the day was so bubbly and fun because of that. I am so glad that Meems and I got to share that moment together. Thanks Ya'll!

An Award for Respect!

Well... As I stand here with my smile and heart as big as the ocean. I am the proud "mama" of a son who was awarded for his respect. Dillon received a medal and certificate in a ceremony in school today for being a citizen of the month. The school chooses a character trait for each month and the teachers of each class have to choose a student who amplifies that character.
November was the month for respect and Dillon was chosen. We are so proud of you my love to God be the glory.

As you can see Dillon is the one in the Dilontastic fancy handsome outfit.(of course). Thank you Meema.

Mrs Pulley the school counselor was giving Dillon his award as she is telling the reasons why the teacher chose him. The smile on his face was so big.

Mrs.Johnson the school principal gave Dillon his medal of respect.

Mrs Tereska Dillons teacher . Love her! Love her! what a blessing she has been. It is so important to understand that God sometimes dose not give us what we ask for because He has something better. Way to go Dillon we love you and very proud of your character.

Front Porch.

Loving the Mums! just wanted to share some pretty pictures of the lovely fall mums for our house. The weather is starting to get real chilly and I do not know how long these pretty mums will last.
Why? would she say that you ask? Well... you see i was born and raised a southern Arizona desert girl. In another words I have no green thumb! I wish so hard that I did because , I love plants and flowers. The reality is you can take the girl out of the desert but,you can't take the desert out of the girl.(or her thumb!) he he.

Oh my gersh! that is my handsome boy! such a poser he is! love ya D.

Wow! I have two handsome boys. God is good. love you babe.

There is nothing like a son who loves his mommie! Totally not planned picture but.. my shirt perfectly matches the mum color! Styling momma.

Oh the beauty of God's handiwork. Be still and know that I am God. Thank you Lord I love you too!

Sharing some yummies!

Here are just a couple things you have to go buy and try.

I found these at Trader Joes one day. You can find them in the freezer section. Oh my goodness!
They are not at what you think when you buy them. I was pleasantly surprised. It is ice cream but, it has a soft pillow like feel on the outside. They are sooo yummy. I think they come in two other flavors also: green tea, chocolate. Go on go get them.

Love Trader Joes! So far all of their mixes are soo good. I could not wait till this one came out for the season too. I made it into a bundt cake and it was so yummy with powder sugar on top. It also makes the house smell very cozy.

So far these have been my two favorite candles that i have burned for the season. You can get them at Walmart and they are only$5.00. hot dog! Sometimes the inexpensive candles do not really smell but, these are lovely. Happy shopping.

Happy Harvest Day!

Well, We had a good time at the church's Harvest festival. Dillon went as (of course) a dinosaur. Not no ordinary dinosaur Mom he was a Carnasaurous . Hope i spelled that right? He was so proud and cute. Mia was my beautiful Snow White and she just was so lovely.

Mia i think just felt so fancy that day that she was actually enjoying getting her picture taken. Well, of course don't all of us ladies feel a little glow when we put on a pretty dress. Run with it my bella!
Arrrr! my handsome dino -Dillon. I am so glad he finally got to be what he loves so much.

Mia was digging for treasure at one of the festivals games. She found a pretty blue ring to match her outfit!

It was her first time in a bouncy! It was so fun to watch as these little puffs of mini princesses and butterflies bounce around in there. She loved it of course.

We had such a good time that when our church's festival was done we went to another one. We are festival crashers.

Dillon did this inflatable race with this other boy. It was crazy because, there was this wall at the end that they had to climb up. I was yelling at Dillon to use the rope to pull himself up but, he literally scaled the wall like a lizard it was kind of weird(spider man). Good times

Pumpkin Carving .

I am just doing some catching-up so, bear with me. Did I mention that I am very aware of my time management struggle! One day I will just be allllll caught up that I won"t know what to do with myself. I am just waiting for that day! We carved our pumpkins for fall time fun! Hope you enjoy.

Mia and mom picked out our pumpkin and Daddy and Dillon tag teamed on theirs. Go ladies!

Mia got her first feel of the gooey insides. She actually really wasn't bothered by it at all. That's my girl!

Daddy and Dillon started on their design. Ryan is an amazing at art and drawing so therefore I declared the competition unfair. I really have no gift of drawing so Mia and I just went for pretty
.

Yea! Finally done and it was a success! We all had a good time and they are ready to display. You guys did a fabulous job.

Here comes the fall decor.

Love, Love to decorate for fall. It leaves your house with just a cozy feeling all around. I have things that i always take out of storage to re-deco but... there is always room for a trip down to TJ maxx, Ross and Jo-anns to pick up some new goodies. Happy fall decorating. Go ahead go pumpkin crazy its only once a year.

Above the fire place mantel area i put a couple of fall topiary trees. Right next to my famous saying. H.T.H.I (had to have it!) TJ-maxx.

Mr. Francois Bunny has gone shopping for a funky little gourd. Dillon picked it out a the local grocery store. I think i have seen them a Wal-mart.

I picked this expandable hat rack at the thrift store for only .50 cents! Hot Dog! I wanted a little coat and backpack rack for the kids. This was perfect in color and it went nicely right next to the garage door. Oh, and it looks so cute and the kiddie height. Yea! thrift stores .

Good times! Fall times!

Yea! it is fall time again. It is most beautiful here in the autumn. The trees literally morph into warm colors. The air is chilly and breezy. It is time for some turkey chile. We did our annual pumpkin patch day and had a good time. We love this patch called Belmont farms. They have farm animals, hot cider and homemade goodies. I feel that fall is a time when the Lord really shows His love to His creation. Sometimes in the business of life we need to STOP, look and the message of Gods love through the season change and have a worshipful awe moment. Be thankful and smell the fresh pumpkin spice air of God's love. Much blessings.

My beautiful sweet pumpkin Mia ready to go into the pumpkin farm.

The kids discovered a chicken coupe. We had to take a picture next to it for auntie Kylie and her future chicken dreams

Mia just running free! Dillon and Mia taking great pictures for mommie.

Riding in the wagon to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins. It was so bumpy like a real wagon ride.

We had a good'ole time. They had a kids area so the kids let out some steam before the long trek home. Now we have to do some pumpkin carving when we get home. Good times!
